Homework for 10/24 Journal Prompt: Based upon what we learned about the branches of government and the people being the center of the government, why is voting important in the United States?  How do you think voting can impact the community and the country?   Share any thoughts you have about the right and responsibility to vote and any personal experiences or feelings you have on the topic. If you do not participate in the journal writing, please think about the topic and be prepared to share your thoughts in class.
