Women’s Suffrage: Miss Paul and the President

Read the story Miss Paul and the President: The Creative Campaign for Women's Right to Vote 3.Complete the Vocabulary Building Block: Choose one word from the story that you did not know. Write it in section #1 at the top of your Vocabulary Building Block. Complete steps 2-8 as explained on the building block template. An example has been provided to help guide you through the exercise. 4. Complete the Character Trait worksheet: Re-read the story and circle the Character Traits you think describe Miss Alice Paul. Look up in a dictionary words you do not understand. Lesson: Watch video: "Five absurd reasons women were denied the vote" Analyze and discuss pro- and anti-suffrage primary source illustrations.
